Is it worth it to you to spend $40,000 on a seminary or Bible college program?
Can you ever recuperate that expenditure? Sometimes the answer is yes but often the answer is no. You have to weigh your age and what you are trying to accomplish.
If you are aiming to be a professor at Harvard or Yale or Duke then you may want to spend this amount and more. If you are aiming for military chaplaincy then maybe. If your goal is a ministry setting such as pastoral ministry, local chaplaincy, non-profit service, hospital or hospice chaplaincy, Christian counseling or church staff service and many more then you may want to consider a program more affordable. Many seek to
serve God in outreach, evangelism, church growth, pastoral teaching, organizational, Christian education and other venues. Recuperating $30,000, $40,000 and often more
is often difficult in these settings. Consider your overall goals and what will work for you in the long run for your age, budget and where God is leading in your life.
