Accreditation?

In America the church and state are separate. The federal government does not govern or accredit the church, religion or those who teach the Bible. There are various accreditation groups. If you plan to teach at a public university or an seminary with on on campus program you may want to pursue a seminary degree from an institution that will enable you to fulfill that desire. If you are planning on serving as a pastor, evangelist, church growth strategist, church staff, missionary, Christian counselor or life coach, non-profit manager, or various other places of service you may be able to study with a number of other institutions that do not require campus studies. Many schools today are charging tuition rates of ten to twenty thousand dollars a year. If you are close to 35 or older you may not be in a situation where you can spend three years and $60,000 on a Bible College degree program.

There are many schools. Consider your calling and what you need to study in order to move forward in your ministry.
